It's my January 2021 print of the month. Oh, it's February already? 😬😬 This is going in the mail tomorrow. Thank you print club members for your patience. What does this print make you think of?
I have added some paintings to my craft corner aka "gallery" at @homesteadhandcraftssa . It's hard to part with my own work that I'm happy with. It's like a piece of me is leaving along with it. 😭💔 but it also brings me great joy knowing my work may be exactly what someone is looking for. 🥰 Be sure to visit Homestead Handcrafts at 4536 Thousand Oaks, 78233. They are open everyday of the week. I took some pics of some of the other unique and intriguing items you will find there.
Hey all, I'm still here. I'm filling up a lot of my time as usual but not with making art as much. I am focusing heavily on the successful operations of the Spare Parts Center for Creative Reuse. I've also been really thinking about my personal style and the materials of the clothes I wear. About 95% of my wardrobe was made from synthetic materials. Most of which were uncomfortable and made me sweat more (because they're not as breathable). So I decided to buy a handful of new pieces from @thredup that are 100% cotton and combine it with some of the existing clothes I have for everyday wear. I condensed my wardrobe to mostly the following pieces and intend on wearing just these for as long I can. My colors are more on the cool tone side (to compliment my skin tone), not very vibrant, and I chose some items based on texture and cut to spruce things up. It's nautical and 90's fashion inspired too. This is Maggi Style 😎😎 what do you think??
My @sparepartssa Center for Creative Reuse haul!! GUESS how much all of this cost?? It was only $56 😳🤯 Try spending less than that for all this somewhere else.
Order of operations: Recieve, sort, list, sell, pull, retrieve, give, repeat. Photos by Robin Jerstad of the SA Express News. At @sparepartssa
How it started & how it's going. 😱😱😱 Still lots of work to do. If you want to join the team let me know. @sparepartssa #creativereuse
